The new C38 is the smallest boat in the newly internationally acclaimed C-series. The new C38, in a slightly smaller format, offers almost the same comfort as the larger C42 with very similar interior solutions. Compared to the Cruiser 37, the C38 becomes a significantly larger boat due to its new modern shapes. Here, better performance, more space, easier handling, and a larger cockpit are offered. Bavaria C38 is offered with two or three cabins and with one or two toilets, a feature that makes the layout unique in its size class. Italian Cosutti Yacht Design has designed an innovative boat with volume in the sterns, which provides smoother sailing and more interior volume. The generous cockpit offers easy handling and the self-tacking jib makes maneuvers simple. A well-balanced sail plan with enough sail area for even light summer winds provides good performance. Combined with an exclusive interior with all features, the new C38 becomes a class leader.
The interior of the C38 is characterized by solid woodwork with a true German quality feel that no other major manufacturer comes close to. Choice between three types of wood, several floorings, and many upholstery options provide great freedom to customize the C38 to your taste. Mahogany is standard, with an oak interior with a perfect shade and a darker walnut available as an option. Especially the oak interior has become popular lately as Bavaria executes it in a way that combines the light tone with an exclusive feel. The C38 has two cabins as standard with a huge storage space in the aft section. As an option, the boat is available with three cabins and also a choice between one or two toilets. The entire interior is characterized by light from the large windows in both the superstructure and the hull sides. Not least, the cabins get a very airy feeling from the large hull windows.
The Bavaria C38 is designed by Cosutti Yacht Design and the Italian sense of style is evident right away. Combined with German pragmatism, it provides a modern, functional, and purposeful design where all sailing functions are easily accessible in the cockpit. Despite its manageable size of 38 feet, the C38 offers a generous cockpit with room for the entire crew. The two wheels provide easy access to the large bathing platform while also providing the helmsman with a clear view to maneuver safely. The new C-series has been designed with generous sail area to provide good performance and the C38 comes standard with a self-tacking jib, which makes handling easy in the archipelago. Combine that with a furling mast and an autopilot, and one person can easily handle the boat alone.
