The new Bavaria S40 embodies the pinnacle of a sport cruiser. This model impresses greatly in Bavaria's flagship category, Sport Cruisers. Bavaria excels in seamlessly combining the expansive exterior areas of a day cruiser with spacious, comfortable interiors, ideal for leisurely boating vacations. With the new S-series, Bavaria introduces a new dimension to sport cruisers; never before has a boat of this type had such a close connection with the outdoors. Large windows throughout the hull provide a delightful connection with nature and flood the interior with natural light, even in the expansive kitchen area with its angled galley boasting a substantial window. The result is a completely new sensation and increased comfort below deck in this type of boat. Bavaria S40 is available in 3 different configurations: an open model with a T-top, a hardtop (HT) with a retractable roof, which can be outfitted with either a sliding fabric canopy or a large electronically operated hatch, and a coupe model featuring large glass doors to the aft deck and a roof hatch.

The layout includes an exclusive owner's cabin in the bow, a midship salon, and a large aft cabin. In the Coupe model, a fourth room is created in the form of an upper salon. In the lower salon, a U-shaped sofa can be complemented with ottomans, providing seating for many around the interior table. The salon also features a large galley to starboard with work surfaces and storage to delight the chef. The spacious wet room includes a toilet, washbasin, and separate shower. The owner's cabin in the bow contains a generous double berth, large wardrobe, and cupboards. A separate, extremely comfortable guest cabin aft of the salon offers a choice between a double bed or twin beds. Here, there is also a substantial sofa, wardrobe, cupboards, and plenty of storage space. Three different seating areas—a U-shaped sofa in the lower salon, a sofa in the cockpit/upper salon, and a U-shaped sofa on the aft deck—offer flexibility for dining.

The deck design is sleek and sporty, with functionality at its core. Wide and secure side decks, easily accessible via well-placed steps, create a "walkaround" boat sensation. After collaborative development with Nordic countries, the new models feature a redesigned and more spacious cockpit. The previously large sunbed has been replaced by a seating area that can be converted into a sunbed, resulting in a cockpit with significantly larger areas and enhanced comfort. This solution is also key to the Coupe model.

The ergonomically designed helm station, with everything in its rightful place, enhances the joy of driving. Next to the helm is a comfortable passenger seat, and to port of this, a unique sheltered sunbed.

Now, joystick control is available for the easiest maneuverability on all Bavaria motorboats with twin installations. This makes docking and low-speed maneuvering child's play.
