We'd like to think you instinctively feel it's not just our passion for boating or the quality of craftsmanship that sets Nimbus apart. It's the result of generations of experience made stronger by modern technology.
Here below you can experience the Nimbus T9 up-close in a virtual tour.
The Nimbus T9 is a nine-meter day boat that offers great opportunities for individual adaption and is intended for all types of day-to-day activities, such as transportation, water sports and leisure activities.
The T9 is the first model in our new Tender series, Nimbus’ new interpretation of the popular Nova, first introduced in 1991. Since then, approximately 2,300 boats have been produced in the Nimbus Nova series, among them the highly successful 26 Nova and the prize-winning R-series that included the 230R, 250R and 300R. “The renewal of a series that has proved so successful, and that is so strongly associated with Nimbus’ DNA and brand, is no easy task. This heritage has truly permeated every area and phase, from concept design, construction, functionality and appearance down to the finest details. Everyone involved has worked with the aim of making the T9 the best product conceivable and thus a worthy successor to the Nova,” says Joacim Gustavsson, Chief Designer at Nimbus Boats Sweden AB.
The T9 is equipped with single or twin Mercury outboard engines. The aft deck u-sofa with seating for 5 easily converts to a sunbed. There is an option for a wet bar with a hand basin and portable Weber LPG grill behind the helm seat. The module also functions as support while on the water or in port. The boat is available with three different canopy solutions – harbor cover, spray hood, or as a T-top design. The helm can be equipped with single 9″, 12″, 16″, or twin 12″ chart plotters. The foredeck features a large loading hatch with access to the cabin as well as an optional daybed which creates an extra seating area that seats 4 people with a table or extended sunbed.
One smart way to make the most of the aft deck area is spare railing cushions that can be placed on the railing, offering both extra seating and a cozier atmosphere. Below deck is a large berth for two with integrated ventilation, ample stowage and separate head with sink.
“The T9 is something of a chameleon and can adapt to most situations, for example transportation to and from a holiday home for most of the year, as a tender for a larger boat, for a variety of water sports, fishing, overnight accommodation or onboard social activities with friends and family. The advantage of the fact that at the design stage we were already considering the need for versatility with many areas of use, is that there are a great many options available when equipping the boat, depending on its intended purpose,” says Jonas Göthberg, Commercial Director at Nimbus.
The T9 is based on the same well-balanced stepped hull as the W9. The boat has a low planning threshold and a cruising speed of between 20-35 knots, with a maximum speed of +40 knots.
